SC/ST Special Cell

The SC/ST Cell in universities and colleges ensures the effective implementation of the reservation policy for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). It collects and analyzes data on admissions, faculty, and staff appointments to track progress in fulfilling the required quotas. The cell also monitors, evaluates, and takes follow-up measures to ensure compliance with Government of India and UGC guidelines. Additionally, it works towards improving policy execution and addressing challenges to promote inclusivity in higher education. Following committee constituted for this purpose vide Order No. - COFS/Est/Order/SCST Cell/1371/2025 Dtd. 23/01/2025.
